Return of the Pagan Definitions Game!
« on: January 07, 2014, 07:29:40 pm »
I'm sure some of you remember this from the old board. With the never-ending debate about what the definition of "Paganism" is, might as well turn it into a game!

Here's how it works: each poster 'defines' Paganism by comparing it to some item. The next poster then explains the definition, then posts a definitoon of their own. For example:
Poster A: Paganism is like cough syrup.
Poster B: Some people find it hard to swallow

Let's go:

Paganism is like duct tape.

There's a light side and a dark side and between the two you pick up a lot of fluff.

Paganism is like a dog scratching at the door to go out.
Maker, though the darkness comes upon me,
I shall embrace the light. I shall weather the storm.
I shall endure.
What you have created, no one can tear asunder.

People try to use it for everything, with painfully tacky results

Once the dog goes through one door, it finds the next door to scratch upon.

No two Pagans will ever want to go in the same direction.

Deleted profile. Not playing with the fluffies. Not going to be attacked because someone took offense to a statement about someone else. Seriously.. snap out of it. The world isn\'t about YOU.

Invariably, no matter how carefully you search, you're going to find into one that is full of nuts.
