2019 Donation Drive

It's time for our annual Server Donation Drive! We need to raise at least $650 (same as last year) to keep The Cauldron's server online for another year. Please help! Either hit that Paypal button to the right and make a one-time donation in any amount or set up a monthly Bronze, Silver or Gold Donor subscription. You can find more info in this message!

Donations as of 13 Sept 2019: $656 donated. $6 more our minimum goal! Let's beat last year's total of $99 more than the minimum!

Note: This total is updated manually, usually once a day

* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

A Reminder:
Hi, sevensons,

Just a quick note:  You seem to be having some difficulty with quoting. When quoting, please take care to keep the quote code (the bits inside square brackets at the beginning and end of the quoted material) intact. This is necessary to comply with our rules about quoting (the quote code is what puts a trackback link onto the quote, and that trackback link is the reason we require quoting), to keep your response clearly distinct from the quote you're replying to, and to prevent weird things happening to the quotes of people replying to you.

For example, in my reply box I see
[quote author=sevensons link=topic=814.msg223473#msg223473 date=1565421265]
Banned because reality has perspective.
[/quote]

I can (and did, in constructing this post) remove the text of your reply, but I'm careful to leave the opening and closing quote code (the things I bolded for this example) exactly as they came up automatically, and to put my response after the closing quote tag, not in between the opening and closing quote tags.

This isn't a formal warning, just a reminder (and definitely not a ban, despite the thread it's in ;)). No reply is necessary, but if you have questions or need clarification, please feel free to contact a member of staff privately.

Thanks!
