Hilarious!

As for the tasting good with chili, I've actually used pepper spray in food before. It's actually pretty good if you want to add some spiciness. Of course, I've been tear gassed with no major effect and I can eat plain habaneros without much discomfort so I'm good with spiciness. I've even taken a shot of pepper spray before.

I figure I'm going to get pepper sprayed one of these days, so good to know it's "the Cadillac of citizen repression technology." Wouldn't want to be repressed with low quality spray!

Well, they could be a 74D, or know some. That's how I got some limited exposure to tear gas.

Bolding mine as well.  I'd be curious to hear more about this incident as well, if you're willing to share.  I have heard that some people are immune to pepper spray's effects, but I've never met anyone that can personally attest to that.  Although if you can just munch plain habaneros I guess I shouldn't be surprised.  I had heard that it's something you'd have to build a tolerance for.  Still I remember rubbing my eye accidentally after eating a jalapeno and GODDAMN did that burn for a long time!

I casually used this product to try to disperse a small band of non-violent campers who had locked their arms together. Although initially it seemed to be effective, it took two applications! The worst part is that the next day they multiplied exponentially! Now what?

Ok, here's a suggestion: DON'T FEED THEM AFTER MIDNIGHT!  I mean, seriously, if they're multiplying after being doused with capsicum you really don't want to see the nasty version...

Are you kidding?  Actual law-enforcement grade, leave alone riot-grade, pepper spray has a Scoville rating in the neighborhood of twenty times that of a habañero chile, and it's suspended in propellants that amount to approximately, you know, paint thinner.  I find it difficult to believe, spiciness aside, that the propellants in OC wouldn't make you very ill, especially if you drank it.  Even personal-grade pepper spray, which is far weaker than what police use, is not just a spritzer of chili oil, it's a chemical weapon.  It is not, contrary to what Fox News would have you believe, a food item.  It is extremely nasty stuff, and I say this from pretty extensive experience.  (People who work with OC spray professionally usually have to be sprayed with it so they know how it's supposed to work and what they can expect from their targets.  I have cleaned up after this and watched what the lower-grade stuff does to big macho men.  I have also been a street medic treating people hit with OC in the field, in riot situations.  OC is not the worst thing in the world, it is totally treatable and it won't kill you if you don't have an underlying condition to exacerbate, but it is not a toy, it is not a seasoning or a beverage, and it is not a joke.  They were not kidding about the kids at UC Davis vomiting blood.)

Tear gas is another chemical completely, and is unrelated to spiciness in any way.  It's a fine acidic powder in suspension and while its effectiveness varies, toughness has very little to do with it.  It's worse for people in poor health, with respiratory conditions, etc., and experience makes it more manageable to handle, but it's a chemical reaction--it works on Marines and it works on grandmas, and its effects and aftereffects can last days if not weeks.

I eat hot chiles for fun and go through hot sauce as a line-item in the household grocery budget, but telling people it's a good idea to put chemical weapons on their food is poor form.  I don't know what you were using for pepper spray, but it was not the stuff law enforcement personnel use.  Drinking that would put most people in the emergency room from the shock and throat irritation alone, leave alone the vomiting.
