Actually, Chris, Lyric and I would like to thank you for organizing and hosting Up All Night for another year. Providing the space is the easy part. You do all the work -- and a lot of TC members really enjoy the results -- although perhaps not the morning after. :)

What Randall said.

Three cheers for Chris Altair!

Hip hip--
You have my sword
And my shield
And my... um... slacks.

I just looked back on the archive board and it looks like Altair has been running this since the first "unofficial" one in 2007! I don't remember that one as that was the year Lyric had cancer surgery the week before Christmas. But that's EIGHT years.

Here's an even bigger thank you. You know something is a tradition when it has been running so long than you have to look up when it started. And Altair deserves 100% of the credit for making this a fine TC tradition: his idea and his work every year.

Eight years? Who knew!

You guys are very kind, but honestly I can't take much credit. Everybody's participation is what makes UAN work. We've taken an ancient pagan festival and used technology to turn it into a truly global team experience, with reports coming in from all over the world. How cool is that?
The first song sets the wheel in motion / The second is a song of love / The third song tells of Her devotion / The fourth cries joy from the sky above
The fifth song binds our fate to silence / and bids us live each moment well / The sixth unleashes rage and violence / The seventh song has truth to tell
The last song echoes through the ages / to ask its question all night long / And close the circle on these pages / These, the metamythos songs
