I've mentioned it a couple of times in blogs...I really do need to make a dedicated post to it though!

I wonder where I read a full blog post/article about it not that long ago then...

I thought about trying it, but we're continually trying to declutter as things stand so I'm not sure it'd work for me at present.

For your calendar Perdita, I wonder if:
  • For Beltane why the necessity for a bonfire? Wouldn't a celebration be more than enough?

Yeah, you're right.  I'd like a fire at some point in the year, I find it great for meditation. But it doesn't have to be tied down to a specific date.

for Lammas, you keep doign that tradition of harvesting the black berries and have an offering for your Deities? Are there other plants that you can harvest at that time of year and have a celebration or feast?

I don't really have a deity or pantheon, but I've been known to gift my first crop of berries to my friend and consider it a sort of offering.

My horticultural/herbal knowledge would need some work for other harvests to become a possibility, but it's worth considering for sure.

Thanks!

I'm afraid I can't currently repay the favour, as I'm coming up blank for suggestions/ideas for you but if anything comes to mind I'll revisit and post same.
