Here's one especially for Altair, though probably too tiny to make out the species of bird (or even that there is a bird!)

Yeah, way too small for me to ID, especially since I'm less familiar with U.K. birds. It looks like it had a deeply notched tail, though.
The first song sets the wheel in motion / The second is a song of love / The third song tells of Her devotion / The fourth cries joy from the sky above
The fifth song binds our fate to silence / and bids us live each moment well / The sixth unleashes rage and violence / The seventh song has truth to tell
The last song echoes through the ages / to ask its question all night long / And close the circle on these pages / These, the metamythos songs

If you celebrate midsummer/Litha, what have you planned for it?

I was lucky enough to join a circle of Witches that I am part of for a ritual around a bonfire and set next to a lovely lake filled with music, dance, jumping the fire, and opening up/releasing our power through sunflowers. It was my first group ritual and it felt so wonderful to increase the pulsing energy of many.

I hope yours and everyone else's solstice plans came off perfectly. (Mine got rained on in the morning, but I toughed it out--yoga in Times Square in a downpour!--and the afternoon turned gorgeous.)

Happy solstice to all!

Happy Solstice! How interesting the element of Water would impede on the Sun's day. Times Square yoga in the rain sounds deeply powerful though. Maybe the universe was just testing your power and commitment.
