My Yule is actually twelve days, from the Longest Night to the Second New Year. Lots of candles in the darkness, Catholic midnight mass on the 24th, the most intense period of work I usually do with the Wild Hunt, and my wedding anniversary are all tucked in there.

I like longer holidays because I don't feel as much pressure for a single day or meal to be perfect.
