2019 Donation Drive

It's time for our annual Server Donation Drive! We need to raise at least $650 (same as last year) to keep The Cauldron's server online for another year. Please help! Either hit that Paypal button to the right and make a one-time donation in any amount or set up a monthly Bronze, Silver or Gold Donor subscription. You can find more info in this message!

Donations as of 13 Sept 2019: $656 donated. $6 more our minimum goal! Let's beat last year's total of $99 more than the minimum!

Note: This total is updated manually, usually once a day

* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

Brighid Festival: Feb. 17-19, 2012, London, Ontario
« on: December 07, 2011, 05:28:03 pm »
There's a Brighid Festival coming up in February in London, Ontario.

Mary Condren, author of The Serpent andTthe Goddess: Women, Religion and Power in Celtic Ireland (and an upcoming book about Brighid!) and National Director of the Institute for Feminism and Religion in Dublin, Ireland will be there as "special guest facilitator."

I'm currently working out the logistics and money, and hoping to be able to go.  If I can go, I'll probably fly into Buffalo or Detroit (whichever is cheaper from the DC area) and drive a rental car to London.

If anyone else is interested in going, let me know!  Maybe we could coordinate where we're staying and things like that.

Yes. Definitely. I have no idea how I'm going to pull together the 1300 it'll cost me, but yes.

I'd dearly love to, but I doubt it's possible for me.

Is that the one in Baltimore?  If so, my daughter is going to be there too.  :)

It's just outside DC; I can't remember the name of the town off the top of my head. It's a really fun convention, and the Gaylord Hotel/Resort/whatever is really wonderful.

Yep, that's the one my daughter is going to.  She had a blast last year.

I know she's planning a costume, but I don't know what yet.  Do you do cosplay?

No, but if she sees a brunette with pink glasses in a kimono, that's me!
