What are your favorite things about your Goddess or God?

From my meeting with Dionysus, I love that he gives me something that I have to figure out on my own. He really knows how to take advantage of my curiosity to help guide me on this path - something I appreciate greatly.

I also like how I've started to pick up on some real world signs of him. For example, I was in Binghamton the other weekend and went out on a whim. Found a Pagan store right down the road from the hotel I was staying and went in. I wanted to look around but something told me to go towards the book section. Found a book that I've found very insightful for me and I'm pretty sure Dionysus guided me towards it.

More seriously, as fun as it is that my Powers inspire me to write wild fantasy porn, I probably most appreciate the forwardness with which they've expressed their love for me. All three corners of my genderfluid syncretic deityblort have gone out of their way to flood me with affection.

He's playful, a prankster and practical joker but never mean; it's all in good fun. He was naughty as a child, and drove his mother to distraction with his antics. He's kind and compassionate, and wise. He's powerful as hell. He protects.

That she is so complex. She is a mother, but she is also a fire goddess. She has a healing aspect, but she is also goddess of the forge. She will nurture you, but she will also protect you with a warrior's ferocity. I feel that we get the message now that to be a mother is to be soft, and she completely refutes that.

I do. I feel that she helps me wake up the "fire inside." When I met her I was in a place where that was desperately needed. Candles and bonfires are some ways that I honor her. One of my favorite spells is burning a bay leaf or a piece of paper to release intentions.

There is something warm and healing about fire. I love to write with a burning candle on the table. I also love the candle scents that are sold. I am a Leo so fire is part of my element. I also strongly am attached to water too, because I am very emotional. My Goddess is close with water, Hecate.
