* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

Well, but you misrepresented the ones you were explicitly speaking of. The Ekklesia Antinoou that Aine referred to is PSVL's organization.

IIRC, Lupus was involved in another Antinoan group, possibly as a founder?, but broke off from them some time ago.  (It may even have been because of their focus on gay spirituality to the exclusion of other forms of Antinoan veneration.)

Yep, their exclusionary stance is why Lupus split away from the OG group. There was also some theological differences, such as the other founder of the group stating that Antinous was The God for gay men, that no other gods were needed, and an eventual Antinous-Is-All-Gods approach that furthered the divide...

I don't get it. You can say that some-one has achieved divine status by their efforts, or that the gods have conferred it on them. Who gave Roman Senate the power to be aware of either situation?

Omens usually work. In the case of the Divine Julius, a fiery comet hung in the sky for -- my memory fails me here -- anywhere from a week up to a month. Generally however, the Roman state had full religious authority to make such a proclamation. The Religio and the state were very deeply intertwined.
