Wow, whoever said paganism had issues with people spouting racial purity BS?

Ask the Native Americans how they feel about being interbred into oblivion. I'm sure they would just love being told that their very identity is unimportant.

In my tradition it's important to find a mate who shares the same race because it promotes diversity and assures the survival of our culture.

I'm deeply sorry that this is not important to most of you, and your parents.

I have a bit of a love for a few gods from two different pantheons. From the Germanic pantheon I have an affinity with Thor and Tyr and from the Celtic pantheon I have an affinity wit Belenus and Grannus. I'm considering mixing it up and placing all four of them on my altar. I have heard of others placing Celtic and Germanic gods on an altar together but do you think that would be a good or bad idea with these four deities? Do you think that their energies would compliment each-other or do you think they would be too 'contradictory'?
I habe a greek ans two Egyptian deities on the same altar, but I grouped them into different corners (I have a small shelf on the altar which separates them, it's like different families living in the same house).

Are you seriously comparing forced cultural genocide to people who chose partners outside their race? My wife and I were not attempting to erase anyone's identity when we got married and our kids identities are just fine. I guess yours is a bit more fragile.

If it's people like you who support preserving these traditions and identities, then I sincerely hope they are eventually lost.

Not forced, my friend. The word you're looking for is "suggested". It's in our media, it's in our schools, it's everywhere. Rockefeller once said, "he who controls the information controls the world".

Culture has be packaged, and resold over and over again to the point of destruction via fading away. We are told the future of the human race is for all of us to interbreed a gray race underclass to serve our racially pure overlords.

I hope you're serious when you say you don't want to see a racially diverse future. Or...is it just the white man you want to see go out the door?

With your line of thinking, in only a matter of a couple generations our decendants don't be able to even "enjoy" conversations like these. They wont even know who we were. They will be fed an alternate history by the upperclassmen, and we...we will never be mentioned.

What does that mean? POLYTHEISM NO MORE.

I hope that's what you really want, bud.

We are told the future of the human race is for all of us to interbreed a gray race underclass to serve our racially pure overlords.

Now you've really got me curious. Who, exactly, are these "racially pure overlords?" Do they run Europe? China? The United States? South America? Africa? What reason do you have to believe that they will continue to maintain their status as "overlords?" After all, fifty years ago it was virtually impossible for a Republican to be elected statewide in Texas. Nowadays it's just about as difficult for a Democrat to win statewide office as well (a good thing, IMHO!).

Frankly, I'm much more concerned about the "political correctness" push for ideological purity than I am about any so-called racial purity among those in leadership positions....

I wish more people were of this mind. Preserve

Oh joy. The company I now keep.
The first song sets the wheel in motion / The second is a song of love / The third song tells of Her devotion / The fourth cries joy from the sky above
The fifth song binds our fate to silence / and bids us live each moment well / The sixth unleashes rage and violence / The seventh song has truth to tell
The last song echoes through the ages / to ask its question all night long / And close the circle on these pages / These, the metamythos songs

Actually it could be anyone. Who knows, maybe the lizard men are behind it all lol. But yeah, corporately-wise and on the social engineering side, it would be "DAH JOOZ". Go google "european people history" and look at images. They aren't even trying to hide it anymore.

On topic:
To be fair to the OP I'd like to say that it's fine to have both pantheons on the same altar, as long as they are seperately represented and seperately honored. I'm an ADF member so in our tradition we try to give honor and respect to the different pantheons separately. So for instance: do a celtic ritual one day and a norse one the other day. It's the best way to honor the divines, and I'm sure they appreciate having a bit of "me time".

And I love how you're not trying to hide your own special brand of asshole.  Fact is, all I've had to do is push, a little bit, here and there, and it just spills out. You're even easier to trigger than that alt-right pussy who got his OKCupid account taken away.

They made you.

And you seem like you don't give "jack shit" about the integrity of anything, which speaks volumes about your own nature. Mixed race people usually don't have integrity though, because they struggle with their own identity. I can't blame you for the way you think, because how can you claim a single tradition when you battle between two? So "fuck that", right? "Fuck" tradition and integrity, right?

You're projecting.

Thank the gods.

Anyway, back to the OP, I haven't had issues with mixing deities from different pantheons. But then again I'm a bit of a syncretist. I find it hard to believe that the gods would never cross ethnic boundaries and, of course, when they do, they'd inevitably be viewed through different cultural lenses and called by different names. I don't think it much matters what name we use if that's true, as long as our intent is clear in our minds. The message will get where it needs to go.
