Seconded.

In fact, I have yet to meet a Brighid follower who does NOT have some kind of physical, mental, or emotional issue.  Because we're all human, and humans are not perfect. Ever.

Thirded in regards to Macha. In my UPG the disability is acknowledged and to be dealt with as much as possible so it doesn't interfere with life being lived. In other words, deal with it and then get on with what I want you to do.

To clarify a bit, as a warrior I quit smoking (and believe me it was a gawdawful war) and now am fighting to become fit (another freaking war as I have to to fight the arthritis pain to just walk around the block). Being a dedicant to a Warrior Aspect doesn't mean you literally have to be able to join the Army and fight. It's fighting the everyday battles against depression, overcoming disablities and one's past that make one a warrior.
