Except that Set(h) had cult centers in Egypt (see: Ombos). Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Egyptians don't seem like the type to worship beings that are Evil Incarnate.

I did a report on him for my "Intro. to Religions of the Near East and Egypt", it was quite interesting.

Not trying to make it a general statement.  It's just when I see feminist I think back to what I was seeing and interacting with from the 70's to the mid 90's.  In that regard I suppose I do have a prevailing mindset of what "Pagan Feminist" are and see them against that mold.  Admititly lumping all of them into the same pool in that regard.

Well, She doesn't seem to mind too much my abundant supply of glitter...or need to put it everywhere, including all over the altar.

Seriously though, do you find Her to be a huggy kissy kind of goddess? I'm not saying it's impossible, She is a goddess after all, She can be however She wants. It's just never been my experience. Though, that could be because I'm not that type of person. So...maybe I am being too narrow in my view of Her.

If by "huggy" we mean "like embracing a cactus" and "kissy" we mean "that of a Dementor", then yes.

ok, so She's not like a Dementor, but She's definitely not fuzzy-wuzzy IME. Her ways of showing physical affection are more along the lines of smacking me upside the head or pushing me headlong into something painful that will make me grow, and then laughing at me. The next minute She'll be looking over my shoulder as I eat dinner, telling me I need to give Her my chicken bones.

I just find She doesn't mind my glitter obsession; as it's directly tied to my burlesque career and that is tied to my reclaiming my own sovereignty, it makes sense.

(And yeah, glitter can be dangerous. Which is why I'm quite evil in my obsession with glitter-bombing my friends. :dwink:)
