* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "".  If it starts with" (or "") you will get this error because "" is not technically the same website as "". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

Gaming Podcasts

So, I've mentioned my podcast addiction habit in other posts, and I wondered if any of my fellow gamers here on TC listen to gaming (video or other) podcasts?

My two favorites, currently, are The Bobby Blackwolf Show* and Orange Lounge Radio, both of which can now be found on the Voice of Geeks Network.

So, what do you listen to?

*Disclaimer - Bobby Blackwolf and I were moderators back in the old days when G4 had forums and we've been friends ever since.

The Rooster Teeth podcast, although that's really only because I enjoy watching Rooster Teeth's and Achievement Hunter's videos on Youtube and I think the people working there have some amazing comedic chemistry between each other. Plus they mention a lot of cool gaming and tech information that I don't hear of normally (I don't go on Reddit). For the most part they're pretty okay, but they can be problematic sometimes in terms of their language (which I acknowledge, don't condone, and try to call out when someone asks me about it).

I usually watch it on Youtube though; when they live stream it, you have to be a subscribed member of their website ($10/year?) to watch it with audio and video, but you can listen to it just the audio for free, and they then release that podcast onto Youtube a week later. So I'm a tad lazy. :P

I'm not a podcast-listener myself, but Ogre is and he makes me listen to bits of Video Games Hotdog, run by the people behind Kingdom of Loathing, and Video Games Taco (which I can't find a separate site for, but I think if you dig around on Hotdog you'll find it -- Taco is done by the girlfriends/wives of the guys who do Hotdog).

They're pretty amusing, from the bits I've heard, and considering I'm pretty sure they're all coming from big intersections of privilege the fact one of the guys understands the difference between cis and trans, f'ex, and was able to explain it to one of the other guys, mostly pretty well, impressed me. It wasn't perfect but it was definitely a step in the right direction, and on a gaming podcast to boot. So. That's something.

They're not perfect, but from what I've heard they're not bad and they are pretty funny. I...don't know how much they talk about video games though. I mean, they do. But maybe not as much as you'd expect from a gaming podcast. /shrug.

Anyway. That's all I got.
