These pies came out so looking so nice that I had to share a picture! (if the attachment works) The filling is pork and apple, and it was very good.

Now that the weather has cooled off enough that I can contemplate using the oven, I have so many things I want to make. Pies and roasts and gratins and scones ... I was making plum jam yesterday, too.

Anyone else revved up for autumn cookery?

Most excellent!! We recently picked the apples off our tree, and I need to make a pie!!
