It's interesting that other people have issues with this. I thought it was just me.

Flossing is even worse. I dread going to the dentist. "You're having a problem with your gums bleeding *jab jab jab*. "That's because you are jabbing them with a sharp chisel!!!"

It's worse when you know your dentist socially.  EVERY TIME I saw her, it was "omg, did I brush my teeth?  do they look white?  dare I smile?  ACK!"

What's sad is to some degree, flossing is more important than brushing- yet it's something we all don't do.

I don't think I"ve ever had my gums probe. Supposed to be important though. I work for a dental company, you'd think that we all had perfect teeth- but we don't. :\

Best solution to that is to carry some oreos to snack on. Be seen nibbling on one before saying "hi". That way anything can be blamed on the cookie! ;)

and the teacher woulda shot me (with reason) if I'd gotten them all hyped up on sugar and then sent them in ....

I have multiple that I am working on.

Getting up earlier, like 6AM. I'm not a morning person, but I'm really good about getting work done in the morning. Hate getting up, but once I'm up it's hard to stop me. If I get up at like 8 or 9 I feel like a failure for the rest of the day and don't get much done.

Cardio 3x/week. I've been pretty good about this these past few weeks, I just hope I can stick to it. I've lost 20 lbs. and need to lose 20 more to be considered healthy BMI.

Limiting computer time. You can see how well that is going ATM :ashamed:

Just a reminder, please remember to quote. You can trim the quote like I did above.
Thanks!

Sorry, I went to trim the quote and didn't realize a few characters had to be in there for it to show.

Thanks!

Or just a line break (hitting "enter") to put the opening code and the closing code on different lines will do.

What baby step are you working on?

Putting my clothes away in the evening. Now that I stay in them all day instead of changing out of uniform when I come home from school, they tend to pile up for days and take up precious room, when I have little enough to start with.

:D: Toothies are an issue for me too. I'm very good at morning brushing but not before bed. Of course nighttime is more important so yeah.

I'm also trying to eat less processed food except for my Progresso soup. I have IBS and sometimes soup is the only thing I can eat.

My baby step is dressing as nicely as possible.  I try to make sure my clothes are clean and stain-free, plus I like to wear a few special pieces of jewelry with it.  I think this keeps my self-esteem and confidence levels up.

I'm like you. I have to make a concious effort to put on something nice, otherwise, I'll be walking around with paint spattered clothes and scruffy hair! Not a good look....

Also, the teeth brushing thing. I am terrible at remembering to do it. I wouldn't feel so bad, but because of my family's mouth cancer history, I have to go every 3 months. Absolute nightmare.:o:ashamed:

For me, it's keeping my teeth brushed.

This is difficult for me too.  I manage to floss and brush my teeth once a day.  I find that doing ritual when I wake up is helping me remember to do this.  It's like I can't go in front of Aset's shrine with bad breath.

I also have trouble waking up at the same time every day.  Then I feel bad about it.  It makes me feel so much better when I wake up earlier.  At the same time though, I'm a night-owl and I get more written at night.

I also have trouble with procrastinating.  I'm working on this.  I get distracted easily.  I need to focus more.
I am the Goddess of Who I can Become. I mix the magic of the sorceress with the blade of a warrior. I walk the liminal pathways to see the face of the Goddess, both terrible and kind. As She stares back at me, I tremble in awe and ecstasy.  --SatAset
