Here is a list of questions we came up with in chat

The amazing thing is that you got so many useful questions out of everyone shouting facetious suggestions. I still think "What the heck is this thing with yarn, anyway?" would be a good core question.

Why is the 'K' capitalized?
Is the Dark Flame negative?
Is FlameKeeping compatible with [insert religion here]?
Who are the FK gods?
Is it Celtic?
When will FlameKeeping be finished?

I will start with these ones.

For whatever it's worth -

I'm absolutely behind this project, and I absolutely do NOT want to be the one answering these questions.  The point is for everyone to add and expand the ideas, not for me to dictate from on high.  PLEASE contribute to this project!

Do I have to burn a candle?
Are there any holidays?
Is there any kind of moral code, Rede, or Commandments?
If everything is sacred, what do I eat for lunch?
How can [insert icky thing or disagreeable person] be sacred?

I'll start with these.

You can go ahead and answer those and I'll pick up some others instead.

Please email me your answers when done, and I'll put everything all together in one document.

Thanks. I doubt the answers will be as eloquent though.

Since the installation of the SIG there has been increased interest in FlameKeeping, but many people seem confused as to what it's about and how to get started. As part of a "Beginner's Guide To FlameKeeping", I think we should put together a FAQ.

Is anyone available to meet in the MUX an evening next week and work on the FAQ? Sunday, Tuesday, or Wednesday would work for me.

Any of those evenings work for me, though my preference would be Tuesday or Wednesday.

I can be there Tuesday for sure- possibly Wednesday, depending on how late 'evening' means. I'm not sure how much help I'll be, but I'll try!

Any of those days is doable. Sunday being the most doable. It would have to be later in the evening for me. I have a tight schedule, so I'm not sure how much I can move around to try and get in- but I'll do my best. Generally, I don't get home until 5, and I don't get around to internets until 6, sometimes 7 MST/PST (depending on DLST).

Ack, sorry guys. I meant to respond sooner. How does tomorrow (Tuesday) sound? Would 8pm Eastern time be an okay compromise between the East and West coasts?
