(1) When Mommy tells you to STOP, it means not only STOP but STAY STOPPED until told otherwise.

And I didn't even see that other one coming by:
When your sibling is told to stop something it is NOT implied that you need to start it too just so you can be told to stop as well.

(And I'm not even a parent :) )

If Mommy says "come here" this does not mean "run all over the neighborhood and try to get away".

If Mommy says "you have to stay inside now" you do not get to say "no, I'm going back out to play"

If Mommy says, "you need to calk down and do a workbook page" you do not get to decide that you can do one line and decide it's done enough.

This may make you laugh some more:  as soon as that happened this afternoon, my first thought - after "OW!" - was "... gotta remember to post this to TC."

When Dad says "Leave me alone for fifteen minutes so I can recharge" it does not mean he wants to be locked in the room with all the kitties meowing at him to be let out. :p

1. High pitched noises are annoying. Don't make them

2. Let Mummy sleep as long as possible, trust me it will make everyone happier.

While letting Mommy sleep as long as possible, DO NOT fight and scream at  each other! When  Mommy wakes up to hear you calling your  brother a  freaking  idiot because he want's  a Nutella sandwich too it make  for a very   grumpy  Mommy.

One of these days Mommy  is gonna learn how to  break the volume  button on the game  tv because she's tired of repeating  "turn it down"  all day  long. On another  note there  IS life OUTSIDE the   door, go outside and play, PLEASE!!!

1. When mummy says "please put away your building blocks" that does NOT mean kick them all over the wooden floor with as much noise as you can.

2. Mummy does not appreciate being told that she looks tired today and should put on some make up.

3. If you tell mummy she should tidy up the house more you are very likely to be doing chores all day instead of going swimming and out for lunch

Kids! Mine  normally tell me  that I look  tired and I need a nap, this  translates to  oh go ahead and  lay down Mommy  we will eat everything in site.

If you get  mad because you can't seem to  draw a  straight line  even with a ruler, and crumple  up  the paper and  throw it  to the  ground and stomp on it all the while  calling the paper  names, don't give ME attitude when I say, " Why are you assaulting that paper, it didn't  do  anything to YOU!!"

On this note...

Dear  12year  old boy,

Your  9 yr  old  step brother is NOT a  D**** Bag!!! If I ever  hear you   call him that  again I'm  gonna make a  potion that  will rot your tongue out!

Dear  9 yr old step- son

Your  12 yr old step brother is NOT a  D**** Bag! If I ever hear you call him that  again I'm gonna make a potion  that  will rot your tongue out!!!

Dear 14 yr old  Daughter

YES!!! They are  BOTH D**** Bags, but  do you SERIOUSLY NEED  to   call them that? I know they woke  us  BOTH  up  fighting this  morning  but COME ON! I'm trying to get THEM to  stop using that  word, please  keep  such things in your  head.

Today  we  have a sale  on, buy  2 scooters get  2  boys   to ride them for FREE!!!! I'm told it's  illegal to SELL  children  but NOT illegal to sell the scooters  with  riders  for free!!! :D:

4)I know for a FACT I  said  " go  clean  your  room"  NOT  " go shove everything under your  bed"

Funny personal story about that one.  I did that.  Then my mom told me to clean out from under my bed, so I shoved it all in the closet.  Then she told me to clean out my closet so I shoved it under my bed.  I came home a few days later and everything that was under there was in the middle of the room with my mom standing over it.  She sat on my bed and watched me clean.

Anyway... When Auntie tells you to clean up all the toys you have strewn all over the house before your Mom comes home, do not throw yourself to the ground and scream "I can't!!!!"  When you are fully capable of doing it.:rolleye::

Been there  done that got  several t shirts for it.....  lol

When  Mommy tells you boys to  go pick up your lego  THEN we will go  for a swim, Mommy MEANS  go to your  room take all that lego  put it in the bin and THEN  we will go for a swim, she does  NOT mean  stand there and argue  with her that  you'd  much rather do it after supper. Mommy is NOT DUMB  you NEVER do anything after dinner but  pi$$ and moan and fight  over   who is gonna  pick up the lego.......:dwink:

Don't you just LOVE how they're always surprised that you KNOW that particular song and dance and actually REMEMBER that they try that every time?

It's like they expect us to have no memory at all of the previous day.  Or year.  Or their life.

"You always say that" "But Mommy, I MEAN it!" ...."yeah, you always say that part too.  Still no."
