* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

How to come out as a Wiccan & Witch to my best friend. HELP
« on: October 31, 2015, 02:18:17 pm »
My best friend, Savannah, has always been a very ...pragmatic person. She finds most well-known religions to be more of a cool novelty to society than anything else, and the lesser-known and far-out ones to be kinda like after-school activities (the mentality of 'It's cool you're involved with that at all, but it really is just for fun, right?').
She has always joked about how when she was younger that she tried to be a witch after The Craft came out. How she would "light candles and burn stuff and pretend that I had some awesome power sh*t!" With Halloween here now, and for the last month she (more than usual) has made fun of the people who choose to follow a path of Witchcraft and Magick, thinking they must have a few screws loose. Whenever she makes comments like this I will usually try to skirt around the matter, give a opposing opinion, or change the topic.
There have been previous matters that have probably tainted her idea of anything mystical. One of the larger things that happened involved her brother. But, with him, it was more of the fact he was really into conspiracy theories at the time and that the idea that humanity had yet to transcend mortality. Generally, you could just brush off whatever he was going on about with out a problem. That situation became rather severe after a while (threats, confrontation, and such). So I can see where she might be coming from.
I'd love to open her mind up a bit to the subject before I let her know whats up with me and my beliefs. I am a bit worried that she'll put up a front and have the whole "Oh no, not THIS again," attitude about it.

Also- I do have several Wiccan symbols tattooed on me in visible places (like my wrists, my ankle, et cetera...). She's seen them several times, has asked about them, and I told her. She thought they were neat and like the idea of them, but didn't really quite get it. She's seen my altar (which isn't that subtle), all my books on the subject, and my collection of vials/crystals and such.
So... What's an appropriate plan of action for this? Or do you have any advice?
Please and thank you!

My question is why rock the boat? If she is fine with your tattoos, books, altar, etc. but doesn't say anything, she may simply be avoiding the issue so she doesn't have to say anything negative. She's letting you do your thing, why confront her about it given her feelings?
