It's not burnout, it's more "Wow, really? I thought you all were self-aware SJ-types that... rage against the shit you're doing right now. Buuut I guess it's OK when you do it. Gotcha."

Couple that with all the recent whinging about pagan solidarity and it's just this giant clusterfuck of people thinking they have the right to tell me how to do my religion and it's bullshit.

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification.

The Pagan solidarity argument seems to come in waves. I've only really been watching for five or six years, but the same thing crops up in a BIG way. Not against unity, but I am against dissolution of identity.
Maker, though the darkness comes upon me,
I shall embrace the light. I shall weather the storm.
I shall endure.
What you have created, no one can tear asunder.

*cracks knuckles* Just responded to everyone. I am really in the zone today, if I can brag a little. I feel like I should be hitting my head against the wall but instead I'm gleefully going "ooh, a chance to EDUCATE." My spoons overfloweth.

I recognize your avatar in the comment section... great posts.

I know I'm learning from them.

*cough* References to my favourite sci-fi movie aside, you are awesome, my friend.

I have things to say, probably, about Teo's blog post and pagandom in general, but I am down to about 1 SJ-fork today, so they'll have to wait.

Off TOpic, I missed something somewhere, but I keep seeing it, and I need to know.

What does SJ stand for?

I'm about to read the comments, but TBH I'm kind of scared to read them.
Unfortunately (and I discussed this on my blog a long time ago) there isn't really a nice way to call someone out when they say something privileged, but calling someone out on their craptastic show of privilege isn't an act of privilege (unless, as a privileged person, your words are seen to carry more weight in a discussion), it's....calling someone out for being an asshole.
