Not that I don't like being a woman, but it's kind of a grass always looks greener on the other side thing, because the kyriarchy.

Failing that, I'd like to be a spotted hyena, even with their clitoris birth....

Likely TMI, but just finished, actually, and now with a mean head cold, I still hate it, though, because it always comes when I'm planning on going somewhere, like on Christmas, when I have a ten hour car drive to look forward to, a ten hour car drive and PAIN!  *was very miserable that year*

I've been lucky that my "girl stuff" was fairly uneventful and over quickly (I'm 44 and all done).  I didn't much care for the endocrine system reasons for the early menopause, but I'm not complaining.

That said, Sigmund was right about one thing:  penis envy, I've got it.  Not for sexytimes, but for being able to pee discreetly anywhere.  Is there anything more convenient?

I was about to jump in and say that being male isn't all glamourous, but then I remembered how lucky I am to be able to do this. Believe me, I cherish my ability to be able to pee discreetly anywhere/on anything.

Time for a TMI moment, but I imagine if I had a penis for a day I'd be trying out all kinds of things. I mean, the male ability to orgasm with less effort is enviable to me. I'd be wrapping my junk in wool, sticking it in pies, jars of peanut butter, wrapping it in aluminum foil, maybe a burlap sack too. After that I'd just let it hang out and feel the breeze.

I'd pity the bloke who got it back when I was done.

Second choice:  a raven.  Let me fly and enjoy flying.  I've watched a lot of birds fly and ravens seem to be one of the few who actually revel in their ability.  Ravens can fly and they seem to have a sense of humor.  Who needs more than that?

In my next life I want to be a wolf.  They are so beautiful.  I have a very strong connection to them.  My second choice would be a Crow or Raven.  Flying would be awesome.

I would love to come back as some sort of deep-sea creature. There is so much of the underwater world that we know absolutely nothing about, and probably won't do for a very long time yet. I'd love to be able to go down and see it all with my own eyes.

Although failing that, i would like to be a cat. Cats have it easier because eating all the time and being mega fat seems to be some sort of status symbol with cats, the fatter they are then the better care is taken of them generally. I would love to be able to eat chocolate and cake and other goodies 24/7 and not have to worry about fitting into my jeans or whether the bitch in the same office as me is going to make some sort of backhanded comment about my 'muscly' thighs :p

On the subject of next life, an otter in a suitably forgotten and clear stream could be nice: fish, play and sleep.

I want to be financially comfortable so I don't have to worry about being able to pay my bills and/or to afford what I want/need and WARM!!!!!

Why? Simple. Being homeless in the winter time and having to sleep in my truck when it's cold outside is absolutely NO FUN at all!
