* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

You deliberately (from what I have been told) misgendered a respected Devotee of Loki.  That give anyone the permaboot

Which further proves my point. Overemotional, easily offended, overly sensitive. Booting people for pathetic reasons...now I KNOW I'm never going back there, even if they gave me an invite.

I'm sorta glad I'm out, tired of all the negativity.

Dang, Crapping on Stephan Grundy... who probably has more knowledge in his little finger about northern religious traditions than just about anyoen else alive.  Dang....

Oh yeah. Forgot about him. He's pretty cool.

with all due respect when you misgender a genderqueer individual its not being overly emotional, its insulting their gender identity

Well, if it was deliberate misgendering, that's not a pathetic reason. That's obnoxious and rude.

I clicked the multiquote button on the page for response if that is NOT how its done  then my bad. it must work differently here than in other forums i have participated in.

Clicking the multiquote button is, indeed, the way to quote more than one post.  But you also have to make sure you don't delete the part of the quote code that provides a trackback to the post being quoted (that's the part that has the username of the person being quoted and the post number).  You need to make sure this is included for each post you're quoting.  In general, it's easier to make a separate reply to each post, and we prefer it, since that makes it easier for everyone to follow the conversations - multiquote is generally best reserved for those times when what you're saying to person X and what you're saying to person Y are so related that it'd be repetitive or hard to separate.

It was not deliberate. Someone didn't tell the group what pronouns they wanted. And someone is overly sensitive.

I am genderqueer. Do I care what pronouns people use? Nope. So you're preaching to the choir.

If that was how you reacted when called on it, I'm not surprised you got banned. XD

just because YOU don't does not mean that others feel the same.  especially when clicking a profile pic tell you the HIM is the gender

Randall explained why you can't edit previous posts.  The point here is that any further discussion of other-forum stuff be undertaken in private.

When modded, the idea is to amend your future behaviour, not to make your past behaviour seem like it never happened.

Any-hoo if all the drama is done.........

Outlaw I think some people have given you some great advice here. Relax, take a step back, work on your own personal issues - with or without deity, whichever seems more productive to you, then revisit your relationship with deity. Realize that for it to be rewarding you have to approach it like any other relationship. Give and take, patience and understanding.

Really?  So, hey, want to go fishing?  I\'ve got a telescope, and it\'s going to be a dark night, so we should see the fish really well.
...what, I\'m not talking about fishing?  That\'s stargazing?  It\'s all doing-stuff, so it\'s the same thing, right?
