I'm so very sorry to hear it. While as I'm not closeted now, it wasn't always this way. I remember how hard it was and the stress behind it. All I can say is, be true to yourself first. Be you, hold tightly to yourself because you will always be you and finding your way back to your path is way harder than never leaving it. Don't conform, no matter who asks you to.

You are right, I should not conform no matter who asks me too. I don't understand why being pagan is judged so harshly- paganism is a beautiful spirituality.

Don't mention it! A lot of people don't realize that Hollywood distorts everything it touches. They color witchcraft and anything related to the occult and spirituality as evil. They twist anything people could believe in except for Christianity. It's one reason I'm so skeptical and ask questions about people when it comes to who I am. I can accept them, but if they can't accept me, I move on. I had to learn at an early age. But I'm glad I did.

It is sad that Christianity is the only religion that is tolerated most places. I am excited for the day when paganism is openly talked about and magic is done freely. I find that it is easy for me to accept others paths but I know mine wont be accepted, which is hard. But my Goddess is helping me cope with that and find peace.

Thank you! And I agree. You'd be surprised the number of threats I get because I refuse to become Christian and forsake who I am. I've even been threatened to be burned. But if I don't stand up for what I believe in, the message that would send out is just as bad as being voiceless, being bound in chains. And I just can't do that.

That breaks my heart to hear you have received threats because you refuse to become Christian and that you've even been threatened to be burned. That is horrific. That is the thing that I find difficult about the Christian religion, the intolerance. There is alot of beauty in Christianity but there is intolerance which is a severe problem. You are right when you say it is better to stand up for what you believe in because otherwise it is like being bound in chains. I do hope that one day Christians become accepting of Paganism and see that there is great beauty and goodness in Paganism.

I hope so too. But it starts with up. Chains of hatred and intolerance can only be broken when we all just stand up and say, "enough is enough." But sadly, not enough love exists in this world to counteract the hate that is taught to children because hatred is a learned behavior.

That is very true. We do have to stand up and say "enough is enough." We deserve to have our religion too. One day there will  be enough love in the world to stop the hatred. I might not get to see that day but I am hopeful for it.
