I've got no idea as to that which you speak. Plz, 'splain?

This is basically what I'm referencing. I noticed most metaphsyical stories carry it, as well as Muggle stores.

My mom has one of those! she made me lick it. =( i never knew that was good for purification. She's a fellow pagan, I'll have to let her know. =)

Hello, a few months ago I read a delightful essay on how a woman cleanses her home (magically speaking) every month.  She said that she used sea salt to absorb all of the negative influences and that every month she replaced the sea salt.

Here is the link: http://www.witchvox.com/va/dt_va.html?a=usnj&c=words&id=14405

I also know that a non pagan friend of mine uses a chakra candle to "burn" away the negativity.

I was wondering what other people used?

I myself use quartz and sea salt.

I do a whole process with a smuge spray I designed, since my apartment has a smoke-free policy. It's after a salt water cleanse and before a candle burning.

It never occurred to me to have an ongoing charm out, and since salt can pick up food coloring pretty well, I could easily explain it as one of my wacky aromatherapy experiments. Although it's a rare day when someone comes in my home who doesn't already know I'm Pagan.

I use white candles, a bell (or anything that makes noise, a blessing ritual (which uses all the elements). When I get on my own I plan on buying sea salt regularly (or when I get enough money). I like using blessed water too :) for outside and inside the home.
