2019 Donation Drive

It's time for our annual Server Donation Drive! We need to raise at least $650 (same as last year) to keep The Cauldron's server online for another year. Please help! Either hit that Paypal button to the right and make a one-time donation in any amount or set up a monthly Bronze, Silver or Gold Donor subscription. You can find more info in this message!

Donations as of 13 Sept 2019: $656 donated. $6 more our minimum goal! Let's beat last year's total of $99 more than the minimum!

Note: This total is updated manually, usually once a day

* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

A Brigid's Cross I just Made :)

Though I have started honoring the Norse gods and goddesses, today I wanted to start honoring Brigid as well. For lack of being able to do much else, but wanting to make something, I made one of her crosses, out of pipe cleaners. As I made it I listened to Howard Baer's Celtic Mystique album; afterwards I said prayers with it to Brigid; overall a nice meditative sort of activity!

Anyways, here it is:

Nice! I really like how the different shades of green are woven together, giving it the resemblance of plant fibers. :)

Beautiful!

I love using pipe cleaners to make Brighid's crosses. They're easy, and the colors are great. :-D

Thanks! I hadn't thought of it like resembling plant fibers, but good point! I was just looking for pipe cleaners at all in my house, and found a pack of these varying green ones. I thought perfect, Brigid--->Ireland---->green lol.

And thank you! Oh yeah they oughta be easier than using organic material though I might like to try one such as that, sometime. I like how they can kind of clamp together in the center more or less, and then at the ends they're pretty easy to tie off. I think this one loosened up though because I tried to see if it would fold up in my small altoids tin shrine/altar lol--it was a bit of a longshot but it didn't work at all! Oh well, I have it on my desk. Maybe I'll draw one or make a small simple one to put inside.
