Mostly in the mornings here we get a turf-war going on between the magpies and the crows

Oh the birdsong I can hear from my window in the morning is most definitely not melodic. These past few weeks there is one particular bird that has a call like a duck being strangled which drowns out all the other bird song, and he does it for like 4 hours straight. Sometimes it irritates me but mostly it makes me laugh because it's so ridiculous.

Once I'm well enough I'm going to go for a walk one morning and follow the sound to see where it lives and what type of bird it is.
