June 19 shift

Friends,

I know this is very short notice, but is there anyone who could cover my shift, which starts this evening?

I haven't been around lately.  I've had the month from hell.  My father died on May 14, and my cat died a little more than a week ago, and, between those two things, there were all sorts of other stresses -- my husband was hospitalized for chest pains (he seems to be ok), I fell and messed up my knee, work was (and remains) unbelievably busy, my mom needs surgery, my husband is scheduled for a hip replacement in July, I have a ton of thank-you notes to write from my dad's funeral and the surrounding days, both of our cars need major repairs, etc, etc, etc.  And, on top of all that, I started having panic attacks and very high blood pressure last week, neither of which I've ever had trouble with before.  Of course, it's stress related.  I understand that.  But still scary.  My dr put me on blood pressure and anxiety meds for the next month, until I'm through the major stresses.

So, it's been a rough few weeks.

The thing that's troubling me most, though, is how angry I am with Brighid.  (If any of you are members of Clann Bhride, you've probably already read my posts about this.  No need to read this.)  I feel like She abandoned me when she didn't heal my cat, Stella.  I know that sounds stupid, but it's how I feel. 


So, I've been taking a little time and space away from Brighid.  I think this will work itself out in time, but, right now, I'm just so angry at Her.  Which makes it very difficult to tend Her flame.

If someone could cover me this time, I'd really appreciate it.
