* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

All the ideas that have been shared so far sound AWESOME!  I'm still figuring things out on my end... :p
You can also find my ramblings at my blog although I\'m not the best at regular updates.  I\'m working on fixing that. Or look for me on FB here or Google+ here. :)

Hmm, maybe that's why (despite the "not authentic to ancient practice" issue), it seems to be an offering almost as widely acceptable to deity-type people as alcohol, honey, or bread.

I don't know yet if I'll be participating - depends whether I get the grace of inspiration on one of my shifts before the sign-up deadline or not.  I used to be a poet in the narrower sense of the word, but that gift seems to have been replaced by broader applications long since, and not all of those broader sorts are something one can put in the mail.

Awesome then, it's settled. :)

And I'm a little jealous that you already have your exchange all figured out.  ;)  Makes the rest of us look like slackers.

I'm mainly lazy. ;) I have copies of my poetry book hanging around (though I may have newer copies out by mailing time, in which case that's what will be sent) and it fits the theme.

No kidding. Whomever is my recipient should prepare themselves so as not to be surprised when they get a piece of chocolate with a haiku:

Here is some chocolate

the Cill Exchange. Boo.

Chocolate is always awesome.

Unless someone objects, I'm planning to handle this exchange the same way I've handled the Imbolc exchanges.

If you want to join the Samhain exchange, please post in this thread AND PM me with the following info:

1.  Your TC screen name
2.  Your "real" name -- the one that should appear on the outside of an envelope or package mailed/shipped to you
3.  Your mailing address
4.  Whether you can ship internationally (this is important, since shipping internationally can cost a lot more than domestic mail)

DEADLINE to PM me with your info is September 15, 2011.

I'm asking for participants to post in this thread as well as PMing me, so I can make sure I receive all the PMs.

Just bumping this thread, in case there are still any Cill members who have not seen it.

PM sent. Nice to do something constructive with my stomach-acid driven insomnia today.

Edited to add: I think I'm going to decoupage a journal so whoever gets it can use it to write their own poetry. Been looking to try that craft out for a while, and a journal will ship easier than a keepsake box.

Just please, remind me when this needs to go in the mail so I can write it down? :ashamed:

No worries.

The timetable I set up at the beginning is:

September 15:  DEADLINE to PM me with your info (and post in this thread as a double check)

September 30:  date by which I will PM you the name and mailing address of your recipient (hopefully much earlier)

Mid-October:  Get your poetry-related exchange gift into the mail, allowing plenty of time to arrive by Samhain (October 31)

I will also post a couple of reminders as we approach mid-October.

Just a reminder

OK, I'm in. I've been debating on whether or not to do this since I'm drawing a complete blank, but my shift is on the 12th, so I'm determined to dedicate my time then to this. Sending a PM now.
