Unless someone objects, I'm planning to handle this exchange the same way I've handled the Imbolc exchanges.

[BThis should be fun! :)

Please do!  :D:

I might have an idea. It's along the lines of a cauldron of inspiration. Basically a cauldron filled with random words and images that could be used as inspiration for poetry or other forms of creative writing. It could possibly even be used for divination. I'm not sure if it's a good idea though. Or if it's the right idea for the exchange...

goes off to ponder some more

Thanks :). So would you be pleased if that was what you got in the exchange? Would you consider it appropriate?

Definitely. :)

I think I'm going to make a pocket shrine of some sort for the exchange.

That sounds really interesting. I'd like to hear more about how you do that if you don't mind talking about it

Question about the poetry theme:  Is the goal to *write* poetry?  Find, purchase, and send a special book of poetry?  Create some kind of craft or art what somehow invokes the idea of poetry?  Something else?

I'm just wondering how everyone else is approaching this project.

Thanks!

~ Aster

I, um, was thinking of sending a copy of my book of poetry.

Not sure if that's something that someone would really want to get. Thoughts?

I would love that!!!

And I'm a little jealous that you already have your exchange all figured out.  ;)  Makes the rest of us look like slackers.

No kidding. Whomever is my recipient should prepare themselves so as not to be surprised when they get a piece of chocolate with a haiku:

Here is some chocolate

As far as I'm concerned, chocolate is edible poetry!
