Thanks for that! Do we have any idea which (if any) of these books are available for eReaders? If not, I can look it up when I have time.

Oof. No I don't, actually. I think eventually I'll make Amazon links to them so that people can read the description and see what formats are available.

Thanks, Karen: I totally didn't think of that!

That is a good idea (and one I wouldn't have thought of either) - don't forget to make them TC/Amazon affiliate links.

But of course! (The only time I even poke at Amazon these days is usually through TC, after all) :)

Cool. Thanks. Many of them will probably not be available for Kindle, but there's usually a button where you can request that a title be made available as an ebook. I don't know how much good that does, but I always click it when I can't get something on my Kindle.

This is just an update of the resource list, just to keep it as current as possible.  Both of these books have been announced here already -- the first when it came out and the second when the call for submissions was posted.

Swann, Hollee, ed., Brighid and Me: Experiences with the Goddess, Goddess Dance, undated (2011, I think), available at the Goddess Dance website.  (This includes an essay I wrote under the name "Breo".)

Monaghan, Patricia and Michael McDermott, ed., Brigit: Sun of Womanhood, Goddess Ink, forthcoming Feb. 2013 (pre-order at Goddess Ink).

I will try to be better about keeping this thread updated as I hear about more resources.  Mary Condren has a book about Brighid coming out sometime soon -- can't wait!  ;)

I hope everyone else will post anything they hear about, as well.

There is a book about Candlemas/Imbolc by Amber and Azrael Arynn K.  From the Table of Contents, it seems to focus almost completely on Brighid.

Here is the link:  Candlemas: Feast of Flames
I am the Goddess of Who I can Become. I mix the magic of the sorceress with the blade of a warrior. I walk the liminal pathways to see the face of the Goddess, both terrible and kind. As She stares back at me, I tremble in awe and ecstasy.  --SatAset

I have this book and like it a lot.  It's not the most in-depth, and I don't remember how reliable the history is, but it has some good ideas for celebrating Imbolc, including recipes.

Thank you for the information. I am new to Brighid's flame and I think she has called me to embrace since I am of Celtic ancestry.
