* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

In most of the US and Canada, it's time to set your clocks forward. Daylight Savings Time started at 2am this morning (which suddenly became 3am). If you didn't remember to set your clocks forward an hour before you went to bed last night, and haven't yet done so this morning, you'll probably want to get on that.

Why, yes, we're late with this announcement :).

I suspected as much. So did I, for the first time in years (and not because I didn't have a reminder from TC; I've usually had it in mind before I read the post), though my schedule is such that it doesn't matter a lot, and my mom and brother did remember.

*shakes fist at loss of hour of my life*

We were up when it happened; most of our clocks (phones, computers) change automatically, and we'd forgotten it was happening. I remember looking at the time and saying "How did it get to be 3am? The movie wasn't that long!" We were confused until an hour later, when it dawned on us.

I reset the microwave clock this "morning", though luckily my laziness prevented me from doing it twice -- there was a brown out (again) and I didn't remember to set the clock until after it happened.

Mind you, supposed to be a windstorm tonight with winds up to 90KM/h, soooo likely going to have a full on power outage. Again. Because it's only been a few days since the last one. (They are so common for us that I have given up on resetting the clock on my side of the bed. It's just been blinking red for months.)
Pray drunk. Hex sober.

We had talked about changing the clocks earlier in the day, but still forgot all about it.

If only the stupid mp3 player dock has been less temperamental, I'd think it worth the risk of fiddling with it to get the time reset. It never got changed last fall. I'm looking forward to it being correct again in a couple of weeks when Norway changes to DST.

What amazes me is, I work nights.  So in the morning in OCtober, no one shows up an hour early.  NO ONE. (except that one nurse who misread her phone, didn't check it again, and showed up at 1 am, then went outside to sleep in her car until 6).

In March, however, at least half of day shift forgets to set their clocks and calls going, we're gonna be late, sorry.

GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!
