I doubt spammer blocking is perfect here. However, in the 2-3 days since we have opened to the public about 125 spammer registrations have been blocked by the Spam-O-Matic mod alone. Mostly spambots.

I'm glad you like the new design. It's standard vBulletin styles with some minor tweaking of some of the ones that did not want to play nice by Jubes.

I love the new forum, I'm a fan of vB so it was great coming on here to find that its now on vB. I like that you've had a proper fresh start as well, I found the old forum really intimidating because it was quite so "full" if you see what I mean >.<

Some of the boards I'm occasionally on have millions of posts. The 275,000 or so we had on the old board seem "uncrowded" by those standards. That said, I know what you mean. We'd restarted the board 5 times over the last 13 years and every time it has been good for the board.  This was the first time we had the option to bring the old posts with us. I'm glasd there were just enough issues with the result that we decided not to. The fresh start always seem to help.
