(I wasn't sure whether to post this in here or in the divination subforum. Since it's sort of related to social networking and books and is definitely a website I've opted for here.)

A little while ago I got a publisher's blurb advertising a free online tarot course via Tarot Town if I pre-ordered a copy of Marcus Katz and Tali Goodwin's book Around the Tarot in 78 Days. I decided to go for it since I've been wanting to become more adept at reading tarot.

The site itself is a teeny bit on the cheesy side IMO (cheery music just makes me cringe a little) but that aside it's a creative approach and I've already learned some helpful approaches to the cards. Lots of interesting correspondences, metaphors, Kabbalistic info, etc. It's my first time reading anything by Marcus Katz but he comes recommended by Mary K Greer and Lon Milo Duquette.

Anyone else taken a course from this site, or taking the same one I'm about to start? Thoughts or opinions to share?

I've never heard of the site, not that this means anything good or bad about the site.

Yeah, I hadn't either (not that I'm the best-informed person when it comes to tarot). I think it's fairly new. I'll post a review of the class once its run its course. (Get it? class and course? ....yeah, I know. It's weak but I haven't had coffee yet today.)

I've realised now I probably should have posted about this here in this thread rather than starting a new one. I be noob. If a mod is inclined to close/move posts that's cool.
