Scholarly Yet Participatory Books on Neopaganism
« on: February 01, 2012, 09:12:37 am »
Hey witchy kids,

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for academically sound (i.e. not from the New Age section at Barnes & Noble) books on modern paganism and/or witchcraft?  The only other condition is that I'd like it to be somewhat participatory in its orientation - that is, it's not just a history, but directly or indirectly (interpret this how you will) has recommendations for incorporating some of the ideas presented into practice.

If anyone has read The Anthropology of Magic (totally recommended!), that's one example of what I'm looking for.

Apologies if a similar post has been made elsewhere.  I couldn't find one. :o
