I was wondering if anyone has heard of this website (Bewitchingrealms.com). I would say after searching hard to find a website for witchy stuff, paganism, and magick.. I think i found one that has been a genuine one. i believe someone has tried it before and even has positive success with the witchy magic store. i just thought this might be a good opportunity for anyone to see. has someone tried this ???  :)

Well based on this page http://www.bewitchingrealms.com/celtic-runes/4594073529  I'd run a mile and as fast as possible.

That has absolutely nothing to do with the ogham which look completely different. Dreadful, just dreadful.

You are likely to have much better success doing your own magic. Spells/Rituals for almost everything offered there can be found for on the Internet with only a little effort and you only need to pay for the materials you use.

<looks> Eeek, yeah, seconded. Nothing Celtic about those, and no relation to Ogham at all - which is true of all runes, which were a Germanic letter system. The claim about 'symbols that appeared in cave markings as early as 1300BC' is mostly nonsense, too - the earliest runic inscriptions only date to c.150 CE; while there are symbols that might have been precursors to some of the runes that date back farther, they're different symbols (and 'caves' are utterly irrelevant here, except as a way to romanticize the whole thing further).

These particular runes appear to be one of the Anglo-Saxon variants, which only date back to 400 CE at most.

The only positive thing I have to say about that page is, at least they didn't make the claim that the 'blank rune' is traditional.

What I see from a look round the rest of the site is not so much wrong, as just very very superficial. There are many, many better resources for learning about witchcraft, paganism, and magic (this forum is one); you could get just as much info, with just about as much depth, from almost any couple-hundred-pages-of-large-print introductory book.

I also note that the site owner's claims about her own background are inconsistent. On the 'About' page, she tells us, 'I initially began the craft myself in my late teen years. Where I lived was a small suburb town, and joining a coven or study circle was nearly impossible to find.' But in her FAQ, she answers the question, 'How and when did you become a Pagan witch?' with, 'I was raised in it. I grew up in a Christo-Pagan family (dad- Lutheran, mom - Wiccan).... I have grewn up studying the craft mastered it overtime.' If she can't even present a consistent account of her own background, I have no confidence in her reliability in other respects.
