New website: Solitary Druid Fellowship
« on: December 14, 2012, 10:42:32 pm »
Teo Bishop of Bishop in the Grove blog fame launched a new website this week. Called Solitary Druid Fellowship it aims to unite solitary druids in a shared liturgical practice. *phew big words*

Well you get the general idea. :) As somebody interested in Druidry but with no grove anywhere nearby I'm watching how this develops with great interest. I'll be really interested to see what kind of liturgy for solitaries he comes up with. I've read ADF's core order of ritual (although I'm not a member at this point, but maybe in the near future) and it's quite a handful. It'd be fine in a group but when I'm doing something by myself I don't want to make it too complicated. I'm a simple kinda gal. :p

I'm going to be blogging for them after Yule. (Feeling honoured and terrified in equal measure, not least because I've only just started the ADF Dedicant Path.) I'm looking forward to trying out the liturgy that Teo creates. It's going to be a bit odd, because I'm not at all solitary in OBOD terms, but ADF Druidry is very different and I'll be doing it entirely alone. So this should be a very useful resource.

Thank you so much for this.  I am just about to start my path and I had many questions on being a solitary druid.  I now have some answers and a resource to follow.  I as well do not have a grove near my location and my time is very limited so this is a breath of fresh air!  Thanks again!
