Lunatik Witchcraft - Hekate - Shay Shepevski
« on: March 01, 2013, 10:08:03 pm »
im curious if anybody has read this book.
it has good reviews, albeit few.
something i find interesting about the description is that it touches hekate, and witchcraft with an ecstatic-shamanistic bent, which is my framework.

i bought the book anyways and finished it.
i highly recommend it. five stars.
i must admit, i usually dont buy/read pagan books because...most of them are too watered down and lack depth, for me.
however, this book is different.
if you are interested in hekate, ecstatic/shamanic witchcraft, feri, three souls concepts, shadow work, and a more traditional take on witchcraft, as in, rootier craft, and def. not wiccan...the author is a non-wiccan witch...
then, this book is for you.
the book is hekate heavy...hekatean witchcraft, anyone?
the nice thing about it is that unlike the book temple of hekate by tara sanchez, this book is more trad-oriented. i found tara's book as being too neo-wiccan for my tastes.
shay's book def. touches witchcraft with its shamanic/ecstatic core.
