Her ultimate book of shadows was my first real teacher. While I now have some perspective and can see how controversal some of Ravenwolf's opinions are I still believe they are a great source of knowledge.

What did her books teach you, if I may ask? I'm curious.
KARMA: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Not the poster in question, but I am going to confess that I am 90% sure that one of her "To __ a ___" books was the first place I ever read about thoughtforms and how to create them. This was a million years ago now, mind you.

a lot of the basics really, how to ground and center for example, how to cast a circle, ive copied some of her spells and regularly use some of her invocations. Her saftey advice is always good. I have other books for tarot and runes however.
I was somewhat nieve however, but discussions on "The Fool Speaks" forum cleared away a lot of that.

Likewise, (not published books but internet writings) the demonolatry system of Joy of Satan. They highly suggest a full on dedication to Satan first thing! And don't use and form of banishing ritual before magick or summonings.
I know this post is old, but I'm gonna second the JoS garbage. Can't comment on LaVey as I haven't bothered to read him at all and zero interest. But insofar as websites go, Diane Vera's Theistic Satanism site is pretty good. None of it clicked with me, but it's well presented, in my opinon and not anything like the JoS junk.

My Pick - - The Complete Book of Demonolatry by S. Connolly.
I had a difficult time with it because she lists Bastet, Sekhmet, Shiva as demons. Huge problem there for me. So if anyone picks up this book beware.

Her Daemonolatry Goetia is much better, in my opinion. Though I'm sure traditionalists hate it, I liked it quite a lot.

Yeah!

She's the first Theistic Satanist author I ever read. Not a practicioner of her exact form, but wow.

She's got a good head on her shoulders, and does excellant intro articles. I might have fangirled about her upthread...

I'll check that demonolatry book.
