I have been a Bronze supporter (annually) for a couple of years now; my current subscription is active through 2020-01-01. I would be interested in upgrading to the Silver supporter level for the coming year if it could be done by supplementing my next term which renews on 2019-01-01. What would I need to do to make this happen?

If I'm understanding you correctly, you will have two bronze running (or have two bronze running now?). Due to the way Paypal handles these, there is no way to combine two bronzes into a silver so paypal only sends you one bill. You would need to cancel the renewals on paypal's end, then start a silver one. At least, this is what I think you are asking.

Well, I'm not on automatic renew; I'm on lump sum advance payment. I currently have one subscription which has a term ending January 1st which has been extended to January 1st 2020 (by advance lump sum payment). I'm asking if there is a way to upgrade that coming term from Bronze to Silver.

What I had in mind was perhaps you sending me a PayPal invoice for the additional $60, and then when I pay it you manually make the change to upgrade the subscription. But I don't know how your database is set up and so I don't know if it is or will be as simple as that. Just wanted to ask.

Sorry, I thought you were on autorenew. Since you aren't on Paypal's autorenew, I can do that easily -- as doing so will not mess things up on the paypal end (as in you get charged for two or three donation auto-renewals).
