Trying to join a moderated group

I've been trying to join a group that is moderated my activity feed says that I've joined but I still can't see anything on the group page is there some sort of special process that I have to go through first?

I believe that any group that is moderated requires you to be accepted by an admin first. It may be that the admin hasn't come online yet to check their messages so they can accept your request.

Also possible, that you've picked a group, that is not active. We have a few that were made and than abandonned.

how do I tell if it's active or not and if I've been accepted?

Don't feel bad, I have been waiting to be approved for the Deities of the Forest group for 2 years now. Apparently the moderator of that has not been around for a while.

Okay, when the mod's been MIA for two years it's maybe time to consider whether there's interest in a new version of the group...

Indeed, I moderate 2 already, but I think a person can have 3 so maybe I will start a new one.
