I became one of the stronger guys in the gym. I feel better, and I have noticed the physical conditioning helps with stress and mental concentration (which helps if you're trying to work magic with Odin).

I would definitely say physical training is helpful for strength, feeling better, stress, and concentration.

I've also found it useful in gaining control of my body and mind.

How many of you are into some kind of physical training regimen, and if you are, do you tie it to spiritual or cultural values within Heathenry?

One aspect of my physical training is Rune Yoga, a process of working with the Runic shapes, intoning their root Galdr sounds, envisioning myself as the Runes, and embodying their energies.

This is one way I spiritualize my physical practices.

I just signed back up for WOD and Bootcamp again. Back to weightlifting and powertraining. I miss being physically active and fit. I need an outlet for my stress and have trouble with concentration.
You're only given a little spark of madness, you mustn't lose it.
