* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

So, its more about better defining dwarves then defining Andvari.

Todd, may I ask, what's wrong with just calling yourself heathen as opposed to Dwarvatru etc?

Oh there is nothing wrong with it. That's what i would call myself anways. I just want to find a term that would kind of... fit MY path. :D:

I can understand that.

My curiosity was based on the fact that being heathen basically means having unique and individual relationships or "paths". We all have the influence of pre-christian Europe in common, but the ancestors we honor aren't the same and the the landwights we honor are all different as well. A Seattle heathen deals with different local folklore than I do, a heathen focused on Icelandic influences probably doesn't have as much interest in the matronae as I do. Some heathens honor the heroes they feel influenced by, you honor Andvari for personal reasons. Everyone's path is individual, and those unique relationships are maybe the core of being heathen. None of that separates us though, and I was curious if you thought honoring Andvari meant that it did.

Thanks for explaining your reasoning. :)
The pace of progress in artificial intelligence (I’m not referring to narrow AI) is incredibly fast. [...] The risk of something seriously dangerous happening is in the five year timeframe. 10 years at most.--Elon Musk

I am in the camp that is concerned about super intelligence," [Bill] Gates wrote. "First the machines will do a lot of jobs for us and not be super intelligent. That should be positive if we manage it well. A few decades after that though the intelligence is strong enough to be a concern. I agree with Elon Musk and some others on this and don\'t understand why some people are not concerned."
