* "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" Problem Logging In?

If you get an "Unable to verify referring url. Please go back and try again" error when you try to log in, you need to be sure you are accessing the board with a url that starts with "https://ecauldron.com".  If it starts with https://www.ecauldron.com" (or "http://www.ecauldron.com") you will get this error because "www.ecauldron.com" is not technically the same website as "ecauldron.com". Moving to the more secure "https" means it is more picky about such things.

Bishop John Spong describes a heathen view of the afterlife?
« on: September 19, 2012, 01:38:43 pm »
Here is Bishop John Spong describing his take on the afterlife. To me, I was struck that this was a pretty heathen way of thinking i.e. no one knows what comes next – if anything comes next – and the key is how we live now and our relationships with those around us. We also “touch the divine” best through living a full life and we best honour the dead that way too. It’s not all about prayer, mediation and the “next life”, but living a full life now. The whole interview is well worth a listen: http://youtu.be/XOcjxjP1kiY?t=14m6s

Bishop Spong is unique. I've read many of his books and wish more religious people (of all religions) were as open-minded as he is.
