Writing Exercises and Prompts

I came across this site linked on our Jack's Tumblr, but since he didn't post it here, I will. Looks like there's all sorts of potentially-useful tools for writers there.

Lots of random generators there, one of which just proved that the universe has a sense of humor.  I've been stuck on a WIP in which two characters are discussing their views on the afterlife.  The random scenario generator came up with this: "Where would you like to go when you die? Describe your perfect afterlife."  ::)

Cool. I could get lost here instead of writing, though.   ;D

Procrastination heaven  ;D
You're only given a little spark of madness, you mustn't lose it.

Those are great!

I have been using this page with tons of Roleplaying Random Generators for ideas both for gaming and for writing...it tends towards fantasy worlds, but there are others tucked in there (there is a whole fandom inspired set...)

I particularly like the "a bunch of random objects" one...great for filling pockets!
Check out my Patreon for more writing and other goodies!
