Just checking in; how is everyone doing?

I'm at 20 poems, so I'm feeling pretty good.  This month has been crazy at work (good vibes appreciated for big things coming!), and I've been wearing a lot of hats.  I got a new unlined journal to help with wearing the Writer Hat, and it feels good. :D

We also did a small care package exchange, and I have a lovely new piece of amethyst and a new editing pen from my exchange person!  So a little more inspiration and witchy goodness ^_^

Ugh. I'm a near total washout. Just too much travel and summer fun.
The first song sets the wheel in motion / The second is a song of love / The third song tells of Her devotion / The fourth cries joy from the sky above
The fifth song binds our fate to silence / and bids us live each moment well / The sixth unleashes rage and violence / The seventh song has truth to tell
The last song echoes through the ages / to ask its question all night long / And close the circle on these pages / These, the metamythos songs

*dives under zir covers, never to be seen again*

translation: I've been writing every day but not on the projects I want to work on and not as much as I'd like. Complete lack of executive function this month.

Congrats on getting 20 poems done!

Also journals are Important To Have. Yes. Definitely. *looks at stack of un-written-in journals that zie keeps adding to* I don't have a journal problem. *coughs*

Two words: chaos rodeo.

My revision project is on pause while I dust the cobwebs off my Evernote account and set it up as a writing-only organization space.  My WIP notes are in a dozen different locations, so I'm spending more time trying to find miscellaneous bits of information than actually revising.  That I have planning notes at all is a minor miracle, since I generally have a write-first-ask-questions-later approach when it comes to NaNo pieces.
