Writing: Camp Nanowrimo April 2019

I realize I should have posted about this earlier but I have been working a lot and plain forgot.

Is anyone else doing April Camp Nanowrimo this year? What are you working on? How is it going?

Is anyone else shaking their heads at their cabin assignments? (I asked to be assigned according to genre and yeah, that is not what happened.)

I'm working on a poetry manuscript. My goal has been 1 poem a day and so far I'm on track! (It is difficult though.)

The cabin assignment was weird. Maybe 3 other people are doing poetry in it. I wonder if the algorithm overrides genre preference with "NEEDS TO BE 30 PEOPLE IN CABIN, CANNOT BE SMALL NUMBER". I swear, the automatically assigned cabins are always MASSIVE. I wish I'd gotten my stuff together earlier so I could have done a private cabin, but alas.
