Sacred geometry is the practice of connecting special meaning to various geometric forms and the numbers associated with them. It can be viewed as finding hidden meaning in the everyday shapes that recur in nature and the world around us; as creating a symbol system through which meaning can be conveyed and esthetic harmony achieved; or both.

The practice has deep roots in human history and is not confined to any single culture or religion. What many groups seem to share is the belief that something fundamental about the universe could be reflected in key geometric forms and the relationships between them.

But [b]be warned![/b] Sacred geometry can be all-consuming, and once you start exploring it, you may start seeing it everywhere—even where it isn’t! Not every natural phenomenon conforms neatly to some “golden” rule, and many claims of this-or-that people employing the ancient wisdom of sacred geometry in building such-and-such a monument are easily debunked. Other claims may prove correct. So take all such claims with a grain of salt and a healthy dose of skepticism.
