Pardon the bit of necromancy, but I couldn't resist.

Among relatively famous names of Urban Fantasy writers, add in Cate Tiernan- if you read her novels, she writes witchcraft and Wicca like only a wiccan would be able to.

Also Yasmine Galenorn, who is more famous for penning the Sisters of the Moon novels (hopefully to be concluded this year at #12) than the fab Embracing the Moon, and Michael Thomas Ford, who wrote the Circle of Three YA series under the pen name Isobel Bird.

From the world of music, the electronic dance duo Orbital identify as Satanists, while Manda Ophuis of the Dutch symphonic metal band Nemesea is openly Wiccan. Though the queen of pagan music remains Wendy Rule.

He wrote YA?  Given the stuff he normally writes, it doesn't surprise me that he chose to publish under a different name.  Still had no clue he was pagan, though (although I'm not surprised as I recall the one story of his that I read used a tarot reading as a plot device).

Excuse me, have you all forgotten about Bette Midler? She has been quite open about her religious beliefs for decades, and one of her albums is called Happy Yule.

I would love to hear more about how Bette Midler talks about being pagan, I've only ever seen her talking about being Jewish.

She keeps one foot on each side of the door, making of her a Jewish occultist.

Do you have any references to this? Because aside from Hocus Pocus I have never seen her talk about witchcraft or magic, and I would like to know more.

Keeping one foot on either side of the door you say?  I think that, in Jewish, that's called lintel.
You have my sword
And my shield
And my... um... slacks.
