I've been really into labyrinths lately.

Here's a blurg—blurb on a blog, not really an astute summary—of Melissa Gayle West's Exploring the Labyrinth, although I hadn't elaborated on some iffiness with West's insistence like "Labyrinths throughout human history! Make universal relatability! Imagine you're ancient Cretan, or Anasazi—" welp I literally can't! I have done zero research into either of those cultures.

I still liked the modern use of labyrinths described as a meditation tool, so here's an overview of Otherfaith prayer customs including a picture of a labyrinth I made with air-dry terracotta clay.

One of my goals for the year is doing more blog posts (both on Limen, my general Pagan blog, and on my professional one.) More than four is not a high goal.

Today's is Organisation and the new year, because there's some Pagan-specific bits (both how I'm structuring my tasks) and how I'm handling things like astrological dates of interest that might intrigue.

By now of course I have motive to claim that there’s more to (becoming an "Astral Warrior") than a calling to arrogance and bullying—as I suppose spiritual healers generally have a deeper and more complicated way of being called to the Work than “wishy-washy condescending privileged pacifist”.

I actually just got started blogging.  Excited!  Got tired of thinking about it and decided to pull the trigger.

Mostly divination, but definitely pagan in nature.
