I did!

I just finished The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman and really liked it. First Gaiman work read, aside from Good Omens.

- Reading Trance-Portation by Diana Paxton but taking it slow since I want to follow the exercises in order and REALLY practice.

- A bunch of editting stuff/literary theory for my degree.

- Starting next week (as soon as this term ends) I'll start Breakfeast of Champions and Damned (this one by Chuck Palahniuk)
Every journey starts with a single step...

Damned is one of his I haven't read.  I really need to.  That and Pygmy.

On my husband's rec, I'm reading Lucky You by Carl Hiaasen.  Cute, but not riotously funny.  And the redneck villains make me want to throw the book at the wall (probably what Hiaasen is going for).

I have tried to read Pygmy and failed miserably. The narrator isn't supposed to be english so Chuck, being Chuck wrote the whole book from a foreigner point of view and with that comes really awkward english. Made it really hard for me to get into the book because of that :(

But you probably know this already ;)

I also need to read Tell-All...I've been slacking on my Palahniuk reading.

I've just finished Kathryn Stockett's The Help. Loved it. Mean Girls meets To Kill a Mockingbird meets, um, something that makes you cry.

Reads over the past three months: Crescent Dawn by Clive Cussler, Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal by Jeanette Winterson, The Memory Chalet by Tony Judt, Snuff by Terry Pratchett, The Essential Guide to Taoism by Eva Wong.

I am reading 'The Wild Ways' by Tanya Huff, yet another urban fantasy novel.

It has witches, witches family drama, and a selkie clan in a dispute  against an offshore oil drilling company. The company hires a powerful witch and so do the Selkies. The issue is... the two witches are aunt and niece and neither is backing down.

I love this is not the usual romance novel and that there's a little of biting snark thrown in between the pages.

I am finally reading The Triumph of the Moon by Hutton. And I didn't take it out from the library this time, I downloaded the ebook, so I will actually be able to finish it.
